Safety beams are a must if you want to set your gate automation to Auto Close -

they send a pencil beam across the opening - up to 5m wide

When this beam is broken the gate will not close or if closing will revert to the open position.

These units have the reciever end wired at the gate motor and the transponding end battery operated.
